Pass The Popcorn


Homemade air popcorn is a healthy snack when served with little salt or fat. Popcorn is also an ideal snack to eat between meals because it is low in calories, high in fiber, and contains healthy antioxidants. It makes you feel full longer, thus reducing the desire to munch on stuff between meals. Below is one of my family's favorite popcorn recipe:

Cheesy Popcorn (Non-Dairy)
1/2 cup of your favorite popcorn (non-GMO is the healthiest)
3 Tbsp. organic extra-virgin coconut oil
Herbamare Organic Herb Seasoning to taste
BRAGG Nutritional Yeast Seasoning to taste

Melt coconut oil in a Whirley Pop or pan with lid over medium heat. Cook until popped. Pour into large bowl and season to taste.
