Crows Feet

I recently came across an article called "5 Ways to Get Rid of Unattractive Crows Feet." Who made that realization anyway? I dig crows and their feet! No really, I'm talking about crow's feet around the eyes, you know, WRINKLES. My ego got a tad defensive after reading the title because I have crow's feet around my eyes, and I feel beautiful regardless. My lines and scars on my body tell a story of where I have been.

We live in a society where we are always trying to look younger rather than embracing where we are at in life. I have a lot of questions when it comes to beauty. Why is it more acceptable for men to go gray, but not women? Who decided wrinkles are a bad thing? Why do we judge ourselves so much? Why do we judge others? Why can't we just love and accept ourselves unconditionally?

The truth is that we are all BEAUTIFUL Infinite Energetic Beings. We also CHOSE how we wanted to express ourselves in this physical world in order to live life with a unique experience. Thus, we are meant to simply be ourselves and not try to be like another.

I'm all about taking excellent care of our physical vessels or bodies, but why not see the beauty in ourselves exactly where we are at this moment. There are many things that I am working on to improve my health, but the more I strive to be perfect, the more I get frustrated and discouraged. I find comfort in Paul Ferrini's words when he said, "You demonstrate love by giving it unconditionally to yourself. And, as you do, you attract others into your life who are able to love you without conditions."

Love and Compassion,
