Sacred Mountain Essential Oil Blend

I wanted to share a new blend of essential oils that I have been using. Sacred Mountain by Young Living is a blend of conifer essential oils, including spruce, fir, and cedarwood as well as my favorite essential oil, ylang ylang. It is a beautiful blend that evokes the feelings of being in the mountains. I have been wearing it as a perfume and placing a few drops in my bath. It can also be used as an anti-deodorant, cologne, and for meditation.

I personally find Sacred Mountain to be a treat to the senses. The exotic flowery smell of ylang ylang
combined with the earthy and woody conifer oils is quite tantalizing. This blend supports the nervous system and helps me to feel calm, relaxed and at peace. The aroma is appealing to both the female and male and balances the dual energies in the body.

How To Use

Diffuse, directly inhale or apply on crown of head, forehead, heart, base of skull, wrists and behind the ears. A carrier oil is not required only for extremely sensitive skin.

Spruce (Picea mariana) Relaxes both the mind and body.

Ylang Ylang (Cananga odorata) Has calming and relaxing properties.

Balsam fir (Abies balsamea) Traditionally used for muscle and joint pain. Also known for supporting the respiratory tract.

Cedarwood (Cedrus atlantica) Relaxing and soothing. Stimulates the pineal gland which releases melatonin that supports deep sleep.

Sacred Mountain promotes feelings of strength, empowerment, grounding, and protection. If you are interested in trying Sacred Mountain, click HERE.

Much Love,

  1. If I was going to dilute Sacred Mountain blend 50:50 in a 5ml bottle ... Could I add 25 drops of Frankincense essential oil ? Would this enhance or hinder the Sacred Mountain blend? Any additional advice you can give would be appreciated ;)

  2. Excellent question! Sacred Mountain is a very delicate scent that reminds me of the high desert where I live since it contains oils that are extracted from conifers. Frankincense is one of my favorite oils. I bet it would make a beautiful blend. I don't have any Sacred Mountain right now or I would try blending it for you. I'm all about trusting our intuition. If you feel compelled to blend the two by adding 25 drops of Frankincense, I would trust that. You can always add a drop or two of each in your hand then blend with your finger. Inhale and see if it resonates with you :) If so, please let me know what you think!
