The Color of Love

This lovely pink poppy has sprouted forth from a perennial wildflower seed mix that I planted last fall. Every time that I'm outside visiting with the flowers, this silky flower with crepe paper petals beckons my attention. She speaks of peace and love.

Before she spread her petals wide, her bud hung low. Appeared to be in a tranquil stupor. Waiting to share her beauty and strength with the world. During her brief life in full bloom, she grows righteous and strong against the weathered fence. It is her bold chartreuse center that commands attention. Live from the heart she says and you will find peace!

Much Love,
Jan
